Thanksgiving in Grey Bruce
We ate pie, we played with puppies, and we watched buggies filled with giggling, cheerful, colorfully dressed Mennonite girls pass by the end of my driveway.
Later, we drove north to Leith, and watched sailboats on the sound, on their way out to Georgian Bay.
Delilah discovered the joys of paddling out into ankle deep water and drinking her fill, and the satisfaction of rolling in wet sand just before you get put back into the car.
All in all, it was a wonderful fall weekend.
Nice pics Carol, glad you had a nice thanksgiving. I see Rumble’s ear(s) are going up. Yay!!!
She’s breading herself. Didn’t somebody write you once wanting a Frenchie they could bread?
Oh, sure. I do a mean breaded French Bulldog.
That’s one of the reasons I got an Element — no carpet. I just clean it with the shopvac set to blower, and voila! No more sand.

That looks like a perfect Thanksgiving.. do the dogs react at all to the horses or other wildlife? I know that Lola goes nuts when she sees them on TV. Unfortunately she’s teaching Sushi how to bark at animals onscreen.
Happy Thanksgiving! Looks like a great holiday. Feel free to celebrate another with us next month. We’ll bring turkey and the fixings. You bring puppies.
Hope’s last blog post..The raking begins…
