Tiny little Quincy needs a ride to his new foster home

French Bulldog Rescue Transport Needed!!!

We need someone to transport a teeny tiny little Frenchie from LaGuardia Airport to Paxinos, PA (about two and a half hours), this coming Wednesday night.

When: Wednesday, May 23
From: Pickup,  LaGuardia Airport
To:  Paxinos, PA
Transport: French Bulldog, male, aprox 15 lbs.
Issues: none with people, dog aggressive, should ride crated
Time: TBA

Route Map: http://g.co/maps/f3wk8

We’ll supply the crate, you supply the car ride. Help us get this Texan to his foster mom, so we can get him started on his new life!

Contact us at transport@frenchbulldoglastchance.org  — If you can’t drive, please SHARE (but we really do need a driver!).

We also need foster homes and other volunteers – remember, you don’t have to be able to keep a French Bulldog in your home to be able to volunteer with French Bulldog rescue.  Go here to fill out our volunteer application.

And don’t forget – please donate, so we can help Quincy and other needy rescue French Bulldogs just like him.

2012 French Bulldog Jamboree, Mississauga

Join us in Mississauga on Saturday, May 26th for the 2012 French Bulldog Jamboree!

  • Door prize
  • $10 nail trims
  • “Meet the Breeder” session where you can get answers about whether a Frenchie is right for you
  • “Talk to a Trainer” sessions where you can get one on one training suggestions for your Frenchie

All this, plus an afternoon of safe, off leash, indoor play, at one of Mississauga’s best doggy day care centers!

Come out Caledon and Meet Some Frenchies!

Mark November 26th down in your calendar, because you’ll be spending it at the Caledon Kennel Club Dog Show, cheering on the French Bulldogs!

Eastern Canada French Bulldog Club is holding a supported entry, in conjunction with the Caledon Kennel Club. This means we’ll be offering some fab prizes for the class winners, including trophies and some spiffy rosettes! Better still, every Frenchie entered will be getting a super little gift bag, courtesy of Pets 4 Life and Poochini’s Barkery!

Even if you are a total dog show novice, you can still come out and have a good time! We’ll have dog show guides ready to hang out with you at ring side and walk you through the procedures. Within no time, you’ll be bragging about how you can spot a great bitch at two hundred paces, and how your pick for puppy was the best of the day!

Be sure to bring some cash, because we’ll also be having a day long Raffle for Rescue! Buy tickets, and get chances to win one of the prizes on offer, ranging from a custom photography session to daycare to gorgeous collar and coats, all courtesy of our sponsors.

We need your stuff, so if you have something we can raffle for rescue, please contact us, at rescue@frenchbulldogscanada.com . Your donations are what allow us to help dogs like Ema, Pierre and Mi Sun, so please dig through all your stuff, and donate what you can! Items do not have to be Frenchie specific, or even canine specific!

Ideas for raffle items include:

– restaurant dinner coupons

– gift cards to stores

– Collectibles

– Artworks

– Clothing

– Gift baskets

– Tattoos

– anything else you can think of!

Select items will be available for an online raffle pre show, so get ready to do some shopping!

More details on the show, including an entry form, can be found here – http://www.caledondogs.com/showsandtrials.html#2011_Conformation_Shows

More details on our great prizes, including a sponsor’s list, coming this week.

Help Bring Mi Sun to Canada

I am once more reaching out for help with rescue.

I was just sent video of a little pied French Bulldog girl in a group run at KAPS. The private rescue group there that fosters has NO foster homes available for a Frenchie, and she is in a kill shelter. We estimate she has until month end, before she faces death.

If we can raise the money to get her to Canada or the USA, we WILL find her a foster home, either through French Bulldog Last Chance Rescue or through Eastern Canada French Bulldog Club and Rescue.

Will you help us, again?

I’ve named her Mi Sun, which means “Beauty and Goodness”, because every rescue dog we help reaffirms my faith in the goodness of people, and the beauty in the eyes of each of these dogs.

Here is her video – look for her at 0:02
