Help Holmes to Breathe
/in French Bulldog Rescue /by CarolDo you remember Holmes? The little French Bulldog once known as Mojo has made amazing progress in his recovery from neglect and abuse.
He’s gone from an emaciated, underweight dog of less than 14 pounds to a healthy, robust 22 pounds! His coat is shiny and glossy, and his feet are no longer covered in lesions and sores. The huge tumor above his eye has been removed, and was found to be benign. His cherry eyes are reduced, and you can finally see the handsome dog he actually is.
Billie’s Diary – Entry One
/1 Comment/in French Bulldog Stuff /by CarolSince it has been brought to my attention that almost all great Divas keep diaries, I thought I’d give this whole ‘blogging’ thing a try. It’s not easy typing with paws instead of hands, but it beats trying to hold a pen without a thumb.
I’ve been keeping myself busy lately by trying to advance my education. This week, I managed to combine physics and Physed – not bad for a puppy, if I do say so myself.
Billie goes to a dog show
/6 Comments/in Dog Showing, French Bulldog Puppy News, French Bulldog Stuff /by CarolI was feeling stir crazy on Sunday after having spent four straight days staring at a computer monitor, so Billie and I decided to go and visit her daddy, Stoli, at the Fergus Dog Show. The Fergus Show has baby puppy classes, which makes it acceptable to bring younger pups onto the show grounds. Since Billie is up to date on her shots, off we went for an adventure.
Billie has never been to a show before – in fact, until yesterday, Billie had never been anyplace before, other than the backyard and a quick walk to the mailbox and back.
Talk about your first times!
