We’re so excited – our new addition arrives tomorrow. It’s a baby monkey – a tufted Cappuccino, to be exact. It’s being shipped Fedex – apparently, they do tons of exotic animal shipping. I had no idea.
I’ve always wanted a baby monkey, and I’ve been speaking with other “Monkids” owners, who tell me that all the press about monkeys going nuts and tearing up their owners faces is way blown out of proportion. That hardly ever happens. I’m going to wear a face mask most of the time, though, just in case.
Here’s a photo of our new baby – I can’t wait for her to get here! I already have some baby clothes for her, but no name picked out yet.

We had a monkey when I was a little girl in Mallorca. It used to steal my lollipops. Finally, either I bit him or he bit me, and the monkey had to go. Where was monkey protective services when you need them??
My brother had a spider monkey. It used to try to rip through the screen so it could come in the house and kill me. Good times, good times….
