Friday Zen – Dexter Hates the Squeaky Toy

This is an old video, but still one of my favorites. It’s Dexter as a puppy (when he was still named Nigel, a name Sean vetoed on the grounds that it made him sound like a fussy old librarian, to which I say ‘what’s wrong with that?’).

Dexter, then as in now, has some pretty strong reactions to things he does not like – and he does not like the squeaky toy.

    There is a smallish little girl in there named Weezie (Wizzles, Sally, Thelma, Mrs. Baby, Mrs. Littles, Miss Poo, Izzy) who happens to like squeaky toys very much. She’s the one with the butterscotch spot on her head between her ears.

      I read that fast, and thought it said ‘butterscotch inbetween her ears’, to which I was going to reply “That’s better than Dexter – all he has is rocks”.

      He sends kisses to his sister, by the way. And Leah is her niece!!
