I went to a hair stylist only once when I was in her chair, we started talking dogs. she said how she was moving and needed to give up her 10 yr old akita that she had since she was a puppy. Choice #1, do not move anywhere where you can't have your pet. She proceeded to say, how the akita was very good with and kind of scared of her friends bunny. How, how do you give up a sr dog like that? Sr.s always have a special place in my heart. Would anybody want him? Would anyone put up with him? I always want the answer to be yes. Please, let it always be yes. You don't need years to bond with and to love your new dog. Trust me, it takes only minutes to fall in love with an animal that needs you. And even the oldest dogs has minutes to share with you.
